A two-hour symposium by Lactation Educator, Sylvia Boyd (PT, LCCE, IBLCE, CLE)
At course completion, participants will:
* Identify signs that indicate baby is in a sub-optimal fetal position
* Demonstrate maternal positions that help baby move into optimal fetal positioning
* List physical signs in the baby that indicate tension is affecting successful breastfeeding
* Identify strategies that may help promote more comfortable breastfeeding in a tense baby
* Recognize underlying mechanical causes of poor breastfeeding experiences
