Dr. Jane Morton at Lucille Packard Hospital demonstrates some ways that pumping mothers can increase production without medication. Her hand expressing methods are useful especially when an infant is unable to breastfeed effectively. The site also discusses many other topics that might be helpful to new parents. · Hand Expressing Breastmilk - Another great 7 minute video segment from Dr. Jane Morton demonstrating how easily hand expression can be taught to mothers. · Exclusively Pumping Breast Milk - A website dedicated to supporting moms who find it difficult to breastfeed, but rather than using formula to feed their baby, prefer to bottle their breast milk by exclusively pumping. Based on Stephanie Casemore’s highly recommended book by the same title.
· LowMilkSupply.org serves as a resource for information about assessing and increasing milk production and supplementing in ways that are supportive of breastfeeding.
· MOBI Motherhood International MOBI stands for Mothers Overcoming Breastfeeding Issues. It was founded by and for mothers who grieved their unsuccessful breastfeeding relationships. They were surprised and comforted to find other mothers had similar experiences. Their mutual support enabled some mothers to find solutions or closure.
