Circumcision

· The Case Against Circumcision Paul M. Fleiss, MD

· NoCIRC.org - National Organization of Circumcision Information Resource Centers -
Provides studies to show that circumcision impairs the health and well-being of the child, including this one relating to its impact on adults: "
Circumcision Cuts Penis Sensitivity".

· Doctors Opposing Circumcision (D.O.C.) - Physicians for Genital Integrity

· Recent Medical Studies on Circumcision - Summaries of recent findings demonstrating the reasons circumcision is unnecessary and unhealthy. (Published on the website of the predominately Jewish Circumcision Resource Center whose research concluded that “circumcision causes serious, generally unrecognized harm and is not advisable.”)

· Are You Fully Informed? - “Would you like to circumcise your son?”  There are many inherent problems with this question as it is stated.  One is that it would be much more appropriate to ask, "Would you like to keep your son intact?" as this is the natural, normal way human beings (and all mammals), be they male or female, enter the world.  A great resource page on the subject.
Posted Jan. 26, 2010 on the blog of the empirical research foundation, Peaceful Parenting.

· Steep Drop Seen in Circumcisions in U.S. - Fewer than half of boys born in hospitals from 2006 to 2009 were circumcised, federal health officials say, down from about two-thirds through the 1980s and ’90s. New York Times article by Roni Caryn Rabin (August 16, 2010).
